Lust, Amusement, & Distrust

Three more basic descriptions of contemporary society are explored and defined as to their effect on attitudes toward God, the Word, and others.  Important distinctions between lust & love are defined. Love is a fruit of the spirit, lust a product of the flesh. Amusement or constant entertainment is weighed against a life of meaningful accountability & responsible behavior. The last value examined is distrust vs. respect for authority. Beginning with God, biblical authority is attacked in an atmosphere of distrust of all authority. It is exceptionally important to grasp the sovereignty of God to whom all men must answer.
