Recent Progress in The Great Commission Pt. II

Welcome to session six of ‘The Unfinished Task’. In our last session, John Paul explained how the center of Christianity is serial; it has moved over time from Jerusalem, to Rome, to Europe, to London, to England, to the United States, and now it is shifting yet again to the Global South and the Non-Western Church.  In this session, we will continue the topic by examining different countries where there has been exciting progress in this ‘Great Commission Endeavor’ in Korea, Cambodia, the Philippines, China, and India.

Although the United States still sends out more missionaries than any other individual country in the world, that number is shrinking, and the number of missionaries coming from the Global South is rising.  The Non-Western church is growing in number and in participation in the unfinished task of seeing the unreached reached.
